Cooperation with suppliers
At Adival, we cooperate with food producers and their subcontractors in Denmark, Sweden, and Northern Germany regarding the collection and handling of by-products from food production.
Efficient and safe collection directly from production
We have developed a rotation system with clean plastic containers that makes it possible to place containers directly in the production area where waste occurs. When the container is full, we collect it and exchange it for a new, cleaned container – ready for use.
In addition, we offer solutions with containers, big bags, octabins, and other special equipment. Our goal is always to adapt the collection to your practical and spatial conditions, so it works optimally in everyday life.
When the residual products arrive at our production facility in Billund, we handle them with a focus on food safety and anonymity. The products are repackaged and processed so that origin and labeling are not visible.
Plastic tubs
A popular solution is our plastic tubs, which are delivered cleaned and can therefore be placed directly in the production area where the waste occurs. As needed, we collect the filled tubs and replace them with newly cleaned ones.
Containers, big bags, octabins, etc.
There are many possibilities, and the final solution for collection always takes into account the individual company’s needs.
After the goods have arrived at our production facilities in Billund, the products are repackaged, processed, and de-packaged so that origin, packaging, and quantities are not visible.
Handling of packaged products
Food products that for some reason cannot be marketed for human consumption can in many cases be reused for feed. Adival has equipment that effectively removes packaging from a wide range of products – without leaving paper or plastic residues in the finished feed.
The packaging is shredded, compressed, and completely destroyed by incineration, ensuring 100% destruction.
Approvals and special permits
Adival has the necessary permits and certifications to handle a wide range of products:
- Approved by the Tax Authority for tax-free receipt of taxable goods
- Authorization for storage and resale of organic products
- Certified according to GMP+ and ISCC

Tailored solution

A popular solution is the use of plastic containers that rotate between the individual company and our production facilities in Billund. Full containers are collected with our own vehicles and transported to Billund, where they are emptied and inspected and cleaned before departure.
